Gabor Kenessey currently acts as GM SCM at Orpic (www.orpic.om). SCM at Orpic is managing the feedstock hydrocarbon supply, inbound logistics, planning and optimization, scheduling, outbound logistics and sales and marketing of the hydrocarbon products.
Gabor Kenessey worked for more than 12 years with MOL, a Hungarian integrated oil and gas company. His most recent role was Vice President, Supply Chain Management of the MOL Group. In this role, he was accountable for the optimization of the downstream and petro-chemical segments of the business, including 5 refineries and 2 petrochemical complexes. His earlier assignments were VP Hydrocarbon Logistics, Manager Hydrocarbon Inventory.
Before joining MOL, Gabor Kenessey worked for an independent inspection company as manager of the Chemical Department, as well as in the academic sector, conducting research and lecturing at the Technical University of Budapest, Hungary.
Gabor holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and M.Sc. in Biochemical Engineering from Technical University of Budapest and has a Ph.D. and C.Sc. in Chemistry.
