Fuad Mosa has a Bachelor degree in chemical engineering from KFUPM in Dhahran in 1995, Masters Degree in chemical engineering from KSU in Riyadh in 2006 and MBA degree from Thunderbird School of Management in Arizona, USA in 2013. He has over 19 years of experience in different fields related to the petrochemical industry starting from operations to an extensive experience in the area of research and development working in the Process development and design phases of small and large scale olefin catalyst production and chemical process. He also led various activities from lab scale and set scale-up programs for improved and new developed catalyst and processes.
In 1999, he was assigned as a leader for commercialization of the 1st olefin catalyst (Sab-Cat-1) developed at the Sabic technology center and in 2002 as a Technology Project Manager for developing, engineering, start-up of a new Sabic breakthrough technology to produce linear alpha olefin (Alpha-Sablin) which was fully commercialized in Jubail in 2008. In 2009, he was assigned to manage the department of chemical technology development at the Sabic technology center in Riyadh. In January, 2012, he was assigned as a Director for Global Technology Management under the Chemical Strategic Business Unit to steer Sabic’s technological strategy and roadmap for feedstock and intermediates production. In 2013 he was promoted to an executive level within Sabic as a General Manager for Global corporate programs and Research & Innovation Centers. In 2014, he was promoted to GM Technology KSA & Emerging Economies to lead Sabic’s technology centers and initiatives in local and non-developed countries in the world. He has contributed more than 35 patents during his years of experience and has published many papers and presents others in many international conferences.
