Rahul Iyer is an Executive VP at Siluria, a leading technology company enabling production of chemicals directly from natural gas. Previously, Rahul built new companies in transportation, power, and chemicals. He has helped develop Californian and Chinese carbon markets, rural electrification with the World Bank, electric vehicles with automotive giants, and the first manned fuel-cell aircraft with Boeing. Rahul serves on the National Academy of Sciences Alternative Transportation Fuels Committee and is a UC Berkeley Engineering graduate.
Chuck joined Grace in February 2018 and holds degrees in Chemical Engineering from Ghana and the U.K. He is a chartered member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). He has worked as a Senior Process, Project and Interface Engineer at TOTAL and KBR and was recently seconded to Saudi Aramco on the Jazan Refinery and IGCC project. He has over 12 years of diversified experience in the Oil and Gas industry with a passion for unit optimizing to unlock potential and enhance value creation.
Syed Faiyazuddin is the Regional Business development manager – special applications at Atlas Copco specialty rental division with responsibility for growing our market and customer shares within MENA region Prior to joining Atlas Copco Rental , Syed Faiyazuddin worked in Caterpillar rental in Saudi Arabia as a rental specialist for more than ten years. Venkat is currently working as Global product manager, Heat Exchanger Tubes for Tubacex in Dusseldorf, Germany. He has worked with stainless steel seamless tubes and pipes industry for last 14 years.
His fields of work include:
- Corrosion analysis (wet and hot) and material selection in refineries, petrochemicals, chemicals and Fertilizer industry.
- New product development and applications development.
- Presented papers in NACE and other technical conferences.
- Written Technical articles for Industrial magazines such as Hydrocarbon processing etc.
- Product management and strategy
Waddah joined Advanced Refining Technologies (ART) in December 2017. Waddah holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK in 2009. Prior to joining ART, Waddah worked as a Process Engineer at a local Petrochemical company for two years, followed by another three years as a Technical Service Engineer at one of the leading catalyst companies in the world; Waddah was gradually transitioned to Sales and Account Management. His main drive and focus is unlocking additional value to refiners through deeper integration and stream management.
Julien Plumail started his career in 2013 at Prosernat as a Process Engineer in the Process Design department. Julien was appointed to his current position of Technologist in Sulphur Recovery and Tail Gas Treatment in 2018.
Julien Plumail is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieur de Chimie Organique et Minérale of Compiègne (E.S.C.O.M) and holds a Master’s Degree in Processes and Polymers from the IFP School.
Vincent Frate is a Process Engineer and Sales Manager at Poerner Ingenieurgesellschaft GmbH. He studied Process and Chemical Engineering at the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons and the Technical University of Vienna. Currently, he is responsible for new business development of new clients as well as for the technical development of offers for projects in the Biturox bitumen (asphalt) blowing technology owned by Poerner. Being in contact with clients worldwide, he is used to work with many different bitumen (asphalt)standards.
Khalid Bin Hadi is the Head of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Business for Siemens Middle East and Saudi Arabia since May 2017. Mr. Bin Hadi joined Siemens LLC in July, 2015 in the position of Senior Executive Vice President, responsible for the operations of Siemens in the UAE and Middle East, including strategy, business development, account management and project management. In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Bin Hadi also heads the company’s government affairs operations.
Benoit LEGAY is the Business Development Leader for the PALL Middle East (Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Polymer markets). In his role he interacts with operators, maintenance and EPC contractors for various fluid purification requirements, mainly in applications relating to refinery processing unit. Benoit joined Pall Corporation in 1997 where he occupied different positions, serving first as a Sales Technical Support Manager for the industry (petrochemical & refinery) for France, then as the Energy Leader for various Middle East countries, as a Zone Leader for Saudi Arabia and then as the Business Development Leader Middle East. Benoit holds an MSc in chemical engineering specialized in different materials such as Polymer, Alloys from Polytech Montpellier in France.
