Morgan Allen is Senior Technical Service Manager for GRACE Refining Technologies, Middle East, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers FIChemE and holds a BSc Chemical Engineering degree.
Morgan has 32 years’ experience in Refining spent predominately at the Murco Refinery in Milford Haven where his roles included Cracking and Olefins Superintendent and Senior Process Engineer positions. He has Operations and Engineering experience of FCCU, Vacuum Distillation, HF Alkylation, Hydrotreating, Reformer, Isomerisation, Distillation, Utilities plus Oil Movements.
During his career he been involved in many FCC revamps, commissioning, and troubleshooting. He joined Grace in 2017 after completing an assignment with AmecFosterWheeler as Commissioning Manager in Kuwait.
Abdul Aziz is currently the Engineering & Technical Support Vice President in Borouge, where he Manages and coordinates Borouge strategic technical subject matter experts and professional engineering discipline resources in support of major capital project delivery; incident and equipment failure investigations; Corporate Technical Support.
He has a career of 19 years at Total, diversified in maintenance, Technical and commercial.
Abdul Aziz started his career in ADCO (ADNOC Onshore) in 1999 as Instrument & Control Engineer. He escalate the technical leader in different fields for 10 years. In 2009 he moved to work as Procurement & Contract manager in Abu Dhabi Government Sector. In 2013 he joined Borouge and worked in Technical Service Function until he reached his current position.
He acted for Seiner Vice President Technical Group for about one year and played vital role in XLT meetings & decisions.
He hold Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from UAE University, Feb 1999 and Master degree in Electrical Engineering from the Petroleum Institute, Dec 2010.
Khalid is the Process Engineering Manager in Borouge with more than 12 years of experience in Asset Development and Operations. Khalid started his career in Borouge as an Olefins Process Engineer in 2005 before becoming the Olefins Process Development Team Leader in 2010, then Olefins Technical Development Department Manager in 2013. Khalid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the American University of Sharjah (AUS) and is part of prestigious ADNOC Future Leaders Program.
Mohammed is a Joint Venture Manager at Saudi Aramco. He is the Secretary of Saudi Aramco President JV Excellence Award Committee and he is also an appointed government official in the City Council of Ras Tanura.
Mohammad is a graduate of King Fahad University of Petroleum & Minerals with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. He has over 12 years of diversified experience in the Refining industry with Saudi Aramco. He is currently a Portfolio Manager in Domestic Joint Ventures under Downstream.
Mohammed held key management roles through his career including advisor to the Saudi Aramco Executive members in SATORP’s Board of Directors as well as various Refinery positions in Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Safety and Project Management.
In late 2012, Mohammed jointed UOP-Honeywell Headquarter in Des Plaines, US for 18 months internship assignment as Process Design and Project Engineer. He is an active participant of various committees. He attended domestically and internationally series of leadership and advanced programs by various consultants in International Business, Strategy, Management and Negotiations.
He is an active member in the Society through different associations’ membership. He participated in “Mecca the Islamic Cultural Capital” Symposium in 2005 as an organizer, the Kingdom initiative to enhance Higher Education System (AFAAQ) in 2006 as an assessor, 3rd OPEC Summit Higher Organization in 2007 as Public & Media Relations representative and Saudi Aramco “Quest for Operational Excellence” Forum in 2010 as guest speaker.
After finalizing his academic education with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin followed by an International Master of Business Administration at Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Mr. Rings spent four years in the chemical/pharmaceutical industry at Schering AG. He held several positions in the financial and technical area and assisted the Board of Directors.
Mr. Rings joint A.T. Kearney 24 years ago and since then he has been a member of the Process Industry Group. His focus has been mainly on Chemicals and Oil & Gas and he has supported a broad range of clients in these industries globally. At the beginning of 2000 he became partner and has held a series of leadership roles in A.T. Kearney. Mr. Rings is now leading A.T. Kearney’s Middle Eastern Process Industry Team and is one of the senior partners contributing to the chemical segment globally. In addition, since 2014 Mr. Rings is serving on the Board of Directors of A.T. Kearney.
His major areas of consulting expertise include long-term strategy development and top line transformation, M&A, pre- and post-merger integration, operations and performance transformation as well as more recently digital transformation in the Chemical and Oil & Gas industry.
Ramón is the General Manager of CEPSA for Middle East. CEPSA is an integrated Spanish company, 100% owned by MUBADALA. CEPSA started its refining activity in Spain in 1929, and since then it has spread its activity worldwide, covering all the oil & gas value chain.
Ramón has been working in the Oil & Gas business since 1987. After working for an asphalt refinery in Spain, he started his career in CEPSA implementing and developing the finance and internal control systems in the petrol stations network and LPG distribution activities. He has a wide experience in upstream and downstream activities as he has been the CFO for the E&P and Petrochemical businesses of CEPSA.
He has university degrees in Law, Economics and a master degree in Tax.
Yahya Mahmoud is the Chemicals & Petroleum Leader and Industrial Products with IBM Global Markets for Middle East, Africa and Turkey focusing primarily on supporting strategic clients realize value through digitization, transformation, consulting and technology investments. Yahya held several roles with leading firms such as IBM, Accenture, and Oracle.
Yahya’s experience has focused significantly on the regional National Oil Companies, Energy conglomerates and Natural Resources organizations in the Middle East. Yahya translates the regional business priorities and key challenges. With strong focus on Industry 4.0, Digitization, Digital Transformation, Industrial IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Change Management and Stakeholder Management, he has led key strategic programs across the region. Yahya leverages his global exposure with IOCs and Supermajors to drive value realization for clients.
Yahya is passionate about Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation with specific focus economic modeling, value engineering, data science, Industrial IoT and AI applications in the industry.
Andrew Carne-Ross is Vice President Business Development for CB&I, a position which he has held since 2010, having joined the Company in 2007.
Mr. Carne-Ross is a Chartered Engineer with over 25 years experience in the oil and gas and manufacturing industries.
His experience includes project management and discipline engineering roles in refining, fertilizers, chemicals, gas processing and LNG projects following which he has spent over 16 years in Business Development roles. Currently he leads a business development team based in seven international locations to secure new business in upstream and downstream sectors.
Mohamed Ali Al Haddadi currently holds the position of Corporate Excellence Department Manager in Corporate Support Division in ADNOC Refining. His responsibilities include managing the corporate level initiatives and best practices implementation and monitoring for business improvement and operational excellence. Over the past 16 years of his service with the company, Mohamed has held variety of posts ranging from Mechanical Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer, Senior Reliability Engineer to Head of the Mechanical Maintenance, in both Ruwais Refinery and Abu Dhabi Refinery.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Mechanical Engineering from United Arab Emirates University, and additionally holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Abu Dhabi University, with emphasis on Strategic Planning and Marketing. He is also a certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and a Member in the Institute of Leadership and Management (MInstLM), UK.
